Responsibilities:
Responsible for keeping things running smoothly by communicating between manager and team members and monitors quality by performing the following duties:
- Communicates instructions from manager to team members.
- Reads production schedule, customer orders, shipping order, or requisition to determine daily tasks for the department.
- Knows basics of all company products and where to find each.
- Assigns jobs to individuals and assists wherever needed to get work done.
- Keeps people on task.
- Monitors work quality by checking progress and spot checking items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies team members with materials as needed.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
- Follows safety standards.
- Notifies supervisor of problems with equipment, materials, or team members.
- Organizes and cleans work area.
- Responsible for directing the work on the line but does not require the consistent exercise of independent judgment.
3rd Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00pm-5:30am; possible OT on Fridays.

- Regular/dependable attendance required.
- Flexibility of work hours including overtime.
- Able to work with and around moving equipment.
- Responsible for work and safety of all personnel assigned to the department.
- Redistribute manpower throughout the shift as needs dictate.
- Serve as back-up for the Department Manager and keep manager informed of people and line issues.

- Manufacturing experience is required.
- Job-related experience is required.

- Lift up to 100 lbs. at waist level on an occasional basis and up to 40 lbs. at shoulder level when handling products.
- Push or pull with up to 100 lbs. of force on an occasional basis when moving products.
- Generate up to 100 lbs. of grip strength on an occasional basis with each hand while handling products.
- Generate up to 20 lbs. of pinch strength on an occasional basis with each hand while handling products.
- Display average coordination with each hand on a continuous basis while performing job tasks.
- Perform elevated work on an occasional basis when handling products.
- Stoop, kneel or squat on an occasional basis when handling products.
- Reach forward and to the side on a frequent basis when handling products.
- Stand and walk on a continuous basis during the course of each shift.
- This job requires the use of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 10 hours per day.
