Production Lead - 3rd Shift

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 PM-5:30 AM.
Possible overtime on Fridays.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Lead to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for directing production employees, communicating expectations from management, monitoring quality and productivity, ensuring safety compliance, and helping the team meet daily production goals.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: To be considered, candidates should have:

Manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or industrial experience.
Experience leading, training, directing, or coordinating employees in a production or manufacturing environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced operation with productivity and quality goals.
Ability to work 3rd Shift.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, and pulling materials as required.
Candidates with only retail, restaurant, customer service, office, or hospitality experience are unlikely to be a fit for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate instructions from management to production employees.
Assign and coordinate daily work activities.
Keep employees on task and focused on production goals.
Monitor quality standards and production output.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company procedures.
Redistribute manpower throughout the shift as production needs change.
Assist with employee training and development.
Serve as backup for the Department Manager when needed.
Monitor materials and inventory levels.
Report equipment, staffing, quality, or production issues to management.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing or production experience required.
Previous Lead, Team Lead, Line Lead, Production Lead, Crew Lead, or similar experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Push or pull up to 100 lbs occasionall.
Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
Perform repetitive tasks for up to 10 hours per day.
Work around moving equipment and machinery.
Work in seasonal heat and high-humidity conditions.

Employment Requirements:

Pass drug screen.
Pass pre-work ability screen.
Pass pre-employment testing.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
