Production Assembly Operator – Join Our Team!
We’re looking for motivated, dependable team players to join our production team! As a Production Operator, you’ll play a key role in manufacturing high-quality windows and doors (fenestration products) in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Your daily tasks may vary, keeping your role dynamic and engaging based on business needs.
Starting pay rate: $17.65
Hours: 5am - 3pm
What You’ll Do
- Assemble door units, frames, hardware, and related components according to work orders and specifications.
- Install hinges, locks, handles, weather stripping, glass inserts, and other door accessories.
- Measure and verify materials to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements.
- Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and assembly instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and housekeeping standards.
- Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally (waist level) and 30 lbs. at shoulder level
- Push/pull up to 70 lbs. occasionally
- Perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods (up to 12-hour shifts)
- Frequent reaching, occasional bending, kneeling, or squatting
- Comfortable working in a moderate to loud environment with seasonal temperature changes
